A delicious Mexican fruit salad with cream is the perfect dessert for the hot summer season. It’s not only yummy but also super easy to make. You can easily adapt this recipe to include your favorite fruits.
I love refreshing and easy to prepare desserts like this during the summer.
When it’s really hot outside I don’t really feel like using the oven or being in the kitchen more than I have to.
The hot summer weather is when I really appreciate a yummy treat that involves zero cooking.

This easy creamy fruit salad contains cantaloupe, mango and strawberry.
Though you can totally swap these out for your choice of fruits.
To make this dessert even easier I bought cantaloupe and mango that was already cut into chunks.
I then cut it into even smaller chunks.
Creamy fruit salad ingredients
- Chopped fruit
- Sour cream
- Sweetened condensed milk
- Evaporated milk
- Mexican vanilla
How to make it
Just put the sour cream, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla in a bowl and stir until well combined.
Then slowly pour in the evaporated milk while stirring.
Then add the fruit to the bowl and mix together.
Transfer to the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.
I know it’s tempting to eat it right away but this fruit salad is way better when served cold.

Mexican Fruit Salad With Cream
This easy, delicious and creamy fruit salad is the perfect dessert on a hot summer night.
- 1 cup chopped cantaloupe
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 1/2 cup chopped mango
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tbs Mexican vanilla I use Molina
Put the sour cream, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla in a bowl and stir until well combined.
Slowly pour in the evaporated milk while stirring.
Then add the chopped fruit to the bowl and mix together.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
