Mexican Cucumber Snack

This simple and refreshing Mexican cucumber snack consists of sliced cucumbers sprinkled with lime and chile. It’s so good! Try it and spice up a boring snack routine! Another great way to enjoy cucumbers are in this easy cucumber lime agua fresca.

Today I thought I’d share with you all this super easy Mexican cucumber snack that my family absolutely loves.

Do you like cucumbers?

They’re good but they can be a little bland by themselves right?

Well then you must try this snack!

I used to eat these all the time when I was pregnant with my first born.

It was so hot outside.

So the cucumbers were refreshing!

Cucumbers are awesome during the summer months.

All you need for this recipe are cucumbers, lime and chile.

The chile is the one on the right.

If you want your cucumber with a little extra spice try it with the Valentina salsa.

I like to put it on mine but my kids don’t like it.

But it’s so good so you should definitely try it!

This is truly one of my favorite snacks and I don’t feel totally guilty for indulging in it!

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 tsp chile powder
  • 1/2 lime

Instructions

  1. peel and slice the cucumber.

  2. Squeeze the juice of 1/2 a lime onto the cucumbers and sprinkle with chile powder.

  3. serve!

Lime and chile is great - but if you try some Tajín seasoning, it's even better! And you can add it to so many things - fruit, vegetables, main dishes, eggs, on and on.

I cut up a cucumber sliced the skin after slicing them I put tajin (chili powder) it taste good I like plain cucumbers as well this takes my sugar cravings down now I will buy at least 2 glad I got a peeler.
