Habanero Salsa
Habanero salsa is perfect for the summer! Try it with chips or all of your favorite Mexican meals!
This is one of my favorite salsas. I learned how to make it from some old friends of my husbands. It’s very easy to make and goes perfectly with many of your favorite Mexican dishes.
My husband’s old friends used to make it during the summer time to go with carne asada. And oh my gosh was it amazing. Those were really fun times!
I can’t wait till it gets warm again, I’m really craving me some carne asada!
The good thing about this salsa is that you can alter the spice level depending on how many habanero peppers you add. Habanero peppers are orange colored and are extremely hot. Even hotter than jalapenos!
My husband, Jaime likes his salsa super spicy but lately I’ve been trying to cut back on spicy food. It always comes back to bite me in the end.
I’m only 25 but I don’t think I can handle extremely spicy food like I used to.
Sometimes I’m able to find the habanero peppers at my local grocery. If you can’t find them you can always go to a Mexican grocery if you have one close by. I can always find them there.
I love how a simple salsa can take an already delicious meal up a notch. For example I love to top my pinto beans with this salsa and eat it with warm corn tortillas. It’s so good!
You can pair this salsa with many of your other favorite Mexican dishes such as, quesadillas, empanadas, carne asada and much more!
Thank you for visiting today! I hope you will enjoy this habanero salsa. If you try it let me know how it turned out, I’d love to hear from you!
