fettuccine alfredo

Hey everyone! I hope y’all are well. Today’s recipe is for what I believe is the best fettuccine alfredo recipe ever!

What I like about my recipe and what I think you’ll also like about it is that it does not skimp on anything. It’s got plenty of butter, cheese and cream! You know, all the important stuff.

It is definitely not the healthiest recipe by any means but when I’m in the mood for fettuccine alfredo I’m not wanting healthy.

So I just wanted to warn you if you’re looking for the lightest healthiest version of fettuccine alfredo then this isn’t the recipe for you. If you want something creamy, buttery and cheesy then you’ve come to the right place my friend!

One of my favorite things about this meal is that it is so quick to make. It’s perfect for busy moms who don’t have a lot of time to put dinner on the table. I could easily eat this meal everyday of the week.

I am obsessed with pasta. Fettuccine alfredo is pretty amazing because it takes the most simplest ingredients and turns them into something out of this world amazing!

How to Make the Best Fettuccine Alfredo

First you’ll need to gather up all of the ingredients which include parmesan cheese, fettuccine, butter and heavy cream. You can find parmesan cheese at your local grocery stores such as Wal Mart of Kroger.

For this recipe I use one whole wedge of parmesan plus less than half of another parmesan wedge. So first things first grate the cheese and set it aside.

Now boil the pasta just to al dente. If there’s one thing I can’t stand it’s soggy pasta. So please be sure to not overcook the fettuccine. While the pasta is boiling Take out a pot and heat it over medium heat. Melt the butter in the pot and add in the heavy cream. Season it with lots of black pepper.

alfredo sauce

Add in about half of the grated parmesan cheese and stir.

Now remove the pot from heat. Once the pasta is done drain it and it to the pot of sauce. Top it with the remaining cheese. Toss it really well to make sure the pasta is coated in the sauce.

That’s it! See how quick and easy it is to make? I don’t use any salt other than for the pasta water in the recipe because the parmesan cheese is salty enough for me.

Best Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe

In my opinion this is the best fettuccine alfredo recipe ever! It’s quick, easy, indulgent and just everything you could ever want in a meal. This is an easy crowd pleasing recipe that you should definitely keep in rotation. It is best served immediately. If you heat it up in the microwave the next day it becomes greasy. I don’t let that stop me from enjoying the leftovers however. Thank you so much for reading, I truly hope you enjoyed the recipe!
