Tortilla chips are really easy to make and I like them better than the ones I get at the grocery.
I like the fact that they are a bit thicker.
You can dip these in queso, eat them with salsa, or use them in chilaquiles.
These chips are done in just minutes and are an excellent way to use up tortillas.
How to make Tortilla Chips:
Stack about 6 tortillas on top of each other.

Cut the tortillas into four equal sized triangles.

Then fry them. I do this in two batches.

When the bottom of the triangles are golden flip them and continue to fry until golden.

Once finished drain them on paper towels and season with salt.

See how easy that was?
It literally took less than 10 minutes.
Now were ready to use these chips in anything we want.
I bet they would be so delicious with some black bean dip!
Or maybe a spicy soup.
Oh man it’s 1 am and I’m getting really hungry now.
Well if you ever have any leftover corn tortillas now you know what to do with them.
If you make them please let me know what you did with them in the comments below. 🙂
