Easy Pizza Recipe

Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well.

You’re going to love this easy pizza recipe I’m sharing with you today!

Pizza has always been one of my favorite foods.

I don’t know how to make my own dough so this recipe uses store bought canned dough.

So if you’re looking for a shortcut to making pizza this is the recipe for you.

You can easily adapt this recipe to include your favorite toppings.

It takes less than twenty minutes to make and is a meal the whole family will love.

pieces of pizza with salami

I learned how to make this super easy pizza last year from a friend.

Right before I left my house to go see her she texted me that she was going to put a quick pizza in the oven.

I thought she meant one of those cheap frozen pizzas and I wasn’t interested.

Although every now and then I can enjoy a cheap frozen pizza.

When I got there I found her topping the pizza with salami and then she put it in the oven.

The pizza turn out to be really yummy which I wasn’t expecting.

Instead of a red pizza sauce on it there was cream cheese which was a very nice surprise.

I immediately decided I was going to make it for my family as I knew they would love it!

Easy Pizza Recipe grocery list

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • Pillsbury pizza crust (thin crust)
  • Genoa salami
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese

Easy Pizza Recipe Steps

Preheat oven to 425.

This is the pizza dough she used.

canned pizza crust

Cut the pizza dough in half.

Take one of the halves and unroll the dough out on the greased baking sheet.

I use my hands to shape it into a thin large rectangle.

I cut the dough in half because I can’t get it as thin as I like when using the whole thing of dough at once.

So I like to make two pizzas one after the other.

Or if you have a big enough oven and two baking sheets you can do them both at the same time.

If you have a very large baking sheet you don’t have to cut the dough in half.

Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for about 8 minutes.

This is what it should look like after coming out of the oven.

baked pizza dough

Spread the softened cream cheese over the crust as shown below.

I bought an 8 oz block of cream cheese for two pizzas but I didn’t use all of it.

Top the pizza with the mozzarella cheese and the genoa salami.

Then return the pizza to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted.

This should take less than five minutes.

Once it cools down a bit start cutting it into squares.

Go ahead and use the other half of the dough to make another pizza if you haven’t already done so.

These pizzas only last a couple of hours if that in my home.

Everyone loves them.

My favorite part is the cream cheese sauce its so good!
