Bentonite Clay Face Mask

Ever since turning 25 last year I’ve been paying more attention to my skin. I even changed up my skin care routine. I started doing the oil cleansing method and now I’ve been making a bentonite clay face mask part of my weekly routine. Let me tell you, it is absolutely amazing! I can definitely see a big difference in the look and feel of my skin.

Now you’re probably wondering what exactly is this clay face mask I speak of? Well it’s only the best face mask I’ve ever come across. Really, it is! It’s an all natural powder that can be used for a variety of beautifying purposes such as masks for skin or hair, detox baths and more. I’ve only used it as a face mask so far but I need to start experimenting as there’s so many things you can do with it.

I try to do this at least once a week. My husband has also started doing it with me! I suggested it to him and he didn’t shy away thankfully cause his skin really needed it.

How to a Make Bentonite Clay Face Mask

This is super easy all you have to do is take one scoop of the powder and pour in a bowl.

scoop of bentonite clay powder

Add a small amount of water and mix with your hand until it looks like the photo below. It will be clumpy but don’t worry about that.

Spread this mixture all over your face and leave on for 20 minutes. You will feel it start to tighten up. I absolutely love this feeling. Use a wash cloth and warm water to rinse off the mask. You can use a moisturizer after drying if you wish.
