This iced peach green tea recipe is a winner in our books and we’ll definitely be making a lot of it over the summer. It’s a refreshing and delicious beverage that’s inspired by Starbuck’s iced peach green tea. If you like this recipe, you’ll have to check out my Starbucks pink drink copy cat recipe.

Why you’ll love this recipe!

  • It tastes even better than the Starbucks version
  • It’s cheaper to make at home
  • It can be easily tweaked according to your taste

I’m patiently awaiting the arrival of warmer weather just so I can stock up on delicious beverages like this to keep me cool under the sun.

What is iced peach green tea?

Iced peach green tea is simply a cold beverage made of peach-flavored green tea.  The inspo came from Starbucks’ version of iced peach green tea.

As soon as I tasted Starbucks version I knew I could make it at home myself and for much cheaper!

To our benefit, creating our own beverage is a blessing as it’s much cheaper and we can also tweak the recipe according to our fancy.

Ingredients needed

We’ll need only a handful of ingredients to create this delightful, sweet-tasting, cold beverage. Here they are:

Peach green tea ingredients

Peach Nectar

Adding peach to our green tea is a great way to naturally sweeten up our beverage. As always, we’re looking for the quickest and easiest way to create fresh-tasting, delicious food and drinks. That’s why, instead of fresh peaches, we’re using canned peach nectar. When making iced tea with real fruit, I’d add a dash of lemon juice to a couple of peaches.

Green Tea

We always keep a box of green tea in the house. We like that it can easily swap for morning coffee or an after-meal beverage.

Honey

Our natural sweetener of choice is honey.

What’s the best sweetener to use for iced tea?

Compared to artificial sweeteners like sugar, natural sweeteners like honey, maple syrup, Medjool dates, Yacon syrup, agave nectar, and stevia are having the time of day.

The spotlight is on them as people turn to more natural, good-for-the-body sweeteners to improve the taste (and sometimes color and consistency) of their favorite beverages.

Realistically, it all depends on your preference because any of the natural or artificial sweeteners mentioned above can be used to improve the flavor of your iced tea.

This iced peach green tea is delicious and easy to make. Enjoy this hydrating beverage with friends and family.
