Goodwill Haul #1
Today’s post will be my first ever Goodwill Haul! If you’ve been here before you may know that I love thrift stores! I can’t stand paying full price for clothing. To me it’s a big waste of money. And I am BIG on saving money. People who know me know that I don’t just spend money on anything and before I buy something even if it’s a small purchase I usually contemplate it forever.
However being a penny pincher is necessary for my family of four on a tight budget. And you know what? I think that’s a great thing! I know the value of a dollar and I want my children to know it as well. Dressing a family of four can cost thousands of dollars per year if you buy new. Many families mine included cannot afford that. That’s why I love Goodwill! I honestly find so many cute items there it’s ridiculous!
I’ve been wanting to do this Goodwill Haul for a while. I hope you enjoy it!
Goodwill Haul #1 Items
Banana Republic short sleeve shirt. I think this shirt is so cute, comfortable and casual.
Sorry, this photo is a bit blurry! This top is from Forever 21. I don’t normally shop at Forever 21 because I don’t really care for the quality of their clothing though I do think they have cute items. However since I wasn’t paying full price for this top I decided to get it.
This one is a cute top from Lauren Conrad!
This cute blouse is from Worthington
This translucent top is from New York & Company
I love this sleeveless top!
Lastly an Old Navy dress that I got lots of compliments on at church!
That’s all that I got for myself but I also got a couple of dresses for my daughter. I didn’t take photos because sometimes she won’t stay still! All of this was just $36 and some change! Can you believe it? That is freaking amazing! I love when someone tells me they like what I’m wearing. I’m always super quick to say, “Thanks I got it at Goodwill!”
Well I hope y’all enjoyed my Goodwill haul and I really hope I inspired you to shop thrift. Shopping thrift helps me save so much money every year! Now we have more money for fun things. Now I can’t wait for Goodwill haul #2!
Thanks for visiting! 🙂
