Birria Ramen

Birria ramen is so delicious and it’s the perfect way to use up leftover birria and transform a pack of ramen noodles. I highly suggest you try it. This stuff will leave you feeling full and satisfied. Both kids and adults love it. Definitely give it a try!

After I made beef birria with consome the other day I knew exactly what I was going to do with the leftovers. I had been wanting to try birria ramen for a long time! I was not disappointed!

Now I’m going to show you how I made it. It was very easy.

How to make birria ramen

Measure out 2 cups of the leftover consome and 1/2 cup of the shredded meat.

Pour the consome into a pot and bring it to a boil. While waiting for the consome to come to a boil open a package of ramen noodles and break them up as shown below. Throw away the flavor packet we don’t need it.

Once the consome has come to a boil add in the meat and noodles. Let the noodles cook for about 2-3 minutes.

Then pour into a bowl and garnish with chopped cilantro and onion. And don’t forget the lime juice! Fresh squeezed lime juice is a must.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups birria consome
  • 1/2 cup shredded beef from birria
  • 1 pack ramen noodles broken into pieces
  • chopped cilantro for garnishing
  • diced onion for garnishing
  • lime juice for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Pour the consome into a pot and bring to a boil.

  2. Add the meat and noodles to the consome and let cook for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Then pour into a bowl and garnish with cilantro, onion and lime juice

  4. Enjoy!
