Upwork which was formerly known as oDesk and Elance is a freelancing site that I have personally used and had good results. I have read mixed reviews about Upwork but I think each person will have a different experience and you just have to know which jobs to take. Not everyone is willing to pay you fairly but there are people who will. So choose which jobs you take carefully.
Fiverr
Fiverr is also a freelancing site. It allows people to buy or sell their services for five dollars. Believe it or not there actually are people who make a decent amount of money from this. In order to make this work for you, you would need to sell a service that wouldn’t take you very long to complete. Otherwise it just wouldn’t be worth it.
Etsy
Etsy is a site where you can sell your homemade crafts or vintage items. This would satisfy your creative outlet while also earning you a little money on the side. Unfortunately I’m not crafty at all, but I know a lot of you mamas are.
Blogging
Blogging is not something that is going to make you tons of money overnight. In order to make a living by blogging you’ll need to work your butt off for months maybe even years before you start making decent money but it will be oh so worth it! There’s nothing better than being your own boss! Once your blog has a good amount of traffic there are so many ways that you can earn an income. There’s affiliate programs, ads, ebooks, the possibilities are endless.
