I bought this NOW Bamboo diffuser after doing some research and learning how toxic scented candles and air fresheners are. After reading about all the toxins that are in these products I immediately knew I had to make a change. I didn’t want my kids constantly breathing in all those toxins. I also have really bad anxiety and using these poisonous products only make it worse. Using this diffuser has helped to calm down my anxiety because I get to have a great smelling home without polluting the air that my family breathes.
I needed something affordable that would meet my needs. So far the NOW bamboo diffuser has done just that. We live in a small two story duplex and I keep this diffuser downstairs in my kitchen. I don’t even need to use a lot of oil and the fragrance is able to permeate all throughout the first floor of our home. I can even smell it faintly when I go upstairs. The diffuser comes with a set of instructions that will give you an idea of how many drops of oil to use. My favorite oils to use with it are lavender, lemon, peppermint, and eucalyptus.
The diffuser is able to run 8 hours continuously however I prefer to run it intermittently. I feel like the fragrance lasts longer this way. It isn’t noisy at all which is great. It also has changing led lights which look pretty cool in the dark. I really love the fact that it does not use heat to disperse the essential oils therefore I don’t have to worry about my kids possibly getting burned. Sometimes I even sleep with it on, I find it super relaxing! Definitely not something I would do with a candle! All I put in it at night is a little bit of lavender and I’m off to sleep.
Before settling on this diffuser I was hesitant. There are so many different ones to choose from and I wanted to make sure I got something great. Thankfully, it works very well and I use it almost daily with no signs of it wearing out anytime soon. Plus it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg but you still get an amazing product. After trying out the four oils I went back and got a bunch more, I’m definitely obsessed with diffusing now!
