
The best chili recipe that’s perfect for Fall
Heat up a pot over medium heat. Then add the ground beef and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.
Transfer the ground beef to a paper towel lined plate to drain. Leave about 2 tbs of grease in the pot.
Next add the onion, bell pepper and jalapeno to the pot. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 8 minutes. Stir frequently.
Then add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Return the ground beef to the pot and add the ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, celery seed and oregano. Stir well and let cook for 2 minutes.
Next add the crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and chili beans to the pot. Then add the beef base, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and water. Stir well.
Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to low and cover. Cook for 1-2 hours.
Serve and garnish with your favorite toppings. Enjoy.
