Molletes Dulces (Sweet Molletes)

Molletes dulces are toasted and sweetened bolillo bread halves that are perfect for breakfast with a cup of coffee.

Ingredients

  • 1 bolillo roll halved
  • 1 1/2 tbs butter cut into thin slices
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon-sugar
  • 1 tbs sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350. Slice open the bolillo roll and put the two halves on a baking sheet.

  2. Top the bolillo halves with the thin slices of butter. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes.

  3. Then remove from the oven and sprinkle both halves with the cinnamon-sugar.

  4. Next drizzle the halves with a little sweetened condensed milk.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
