Homemade Strawberry Syrup

This homemade strawberry syrup is made with just 2 simple ingredients and is bursting with fresh strawberry flavor. Perfect for strawberry milk, strawberry soda, pancakes, waffles, French toast, crepes, ice cream, and so much more!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Add the strawberries and sugar to a sauce pan over medium heat. Cover and let the strawberries soften for about 5 minutes.

  2. Once the strawberries have softened mash them well with a potato masher and mix together with the sugar. Let the mixture simmer for about 7-10 minutes.

  3. Strain the syrup into a container. Let cool. Then store in the refrigerator
