Homemade Pancakes

These delicious homemade pancakes are a crowd pleaser. We love them for breakfast or even dessert!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup milk plus 2 tbs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 tbs butter melted and cooled
  • 2 tbs vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar and salt.

  2. In another bowl, whisk eggs while slowly pouring in milk and vanilla.

  3. Stir wet ingredients into dry. Then mix in melted butter. Batter will be lumpy.

  4. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and coat with the oil.

  5. Pour about 1/3 cup of batter into the skillet. Cook for 1 minute then flip and cook for another 40-60 seconds. Transfer the pancake to a plate and repeat the above steps with the remaining batter adding more oil as needed.

  6. Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy.
