crack the eggs in a large mixing bowl. Add the half and half, sugar, salt, cinnamon and vanilla. Beat with a fork until well mixed.
Heat up the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Once butter is sizzling. Dip the bread in the egg mixture and transfer to the skillet. Cook for about a minute on each side.
Transfer to a plate and repeat the process with the remaining slices of bread.
Serve the french toast with syrup or jelly and enjoy!
