Peanut Butter Ramen

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tbs peanut butter
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbs brown sugar
  • 1 garlic clove peeled and minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 3 oz bag of chicken flavored instant ramen
  • 1 tbs chopped cilantro for garnishing
  • 1 tbs chopped green onion for garnishing
  • 1/2 lime for garnishing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine the peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic and red pepper flakes until a smooth sauce is formed.

  2. Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Once boiling, add the ramen and boil for 2 to 3 min. Drain the water or leave a little if you want it soupy. Add half of the seasoning packet that comes with the noodles to the pot along with the peanut butter sauce.

  3. Toss the noodles with a pair of tongs to combine the sauce and noodles.

  4. Transfer the noodles to a bowl and garnish with the cilantro, green onions and fresh squeezed lime juice.

  5. Serve and enjoy.
