
Cream cheese wontons are a popular takeout item that can be easily recreated at home.
Put the cream cheese, green onion, red bell pepper, granulated garlic and worcestershire sauce in a large bowl and mix until well combined.
Spoon about a teaspoon full of the cream cheese mixture onto the center of a wonton wrapper.
Fold the wonton according to the instructions on the packaging. Then repeat with the remaining wrappers and cream cheese mixture.
Heat up enough oil for frying in a pot over medium high heat. Once hot add 4-5 wontons to the pot and fry until they turn a golden color. This should take just 1-2 min per batch.
Then transfer the fried wontons to a paper towel lined pate to drain. Repeat the above steps with the remaining wontons.
Serve and enjoy.
