Ingredients

  • 4 gold potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1/2 white onion thinly sliced
  • 1 serrano pepper finely chopped
  • 1 cup ham chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp granulated garlic
  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat up the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the potatoes and cook for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.

  3. Next add the sliced onion and the chopped serrano pepper to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper.

  4. Then add the granulated garlic and stir. Cook for 4 more minutes or until the onion has softened.

  5. Now it’s time to add the chopped ham. Continue to cook for another 5 minutes while stirring frequently.

  6. Then reduce the heat to medium low and cover. Cook for another 5 minutes.

  7. Remove the lid and add the shredded mozzarella. Cover and let cook for about a minute or until the cheese has melted.

  8. Serve and enjoy!
