Arrachera Carne Asada

Arrachera carne asada is the perfect summer food. Serve it with warm corn tortillas and fresh pico de gallo.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs skirt steak
  • 1 tbs garlic salt I use Lawry's
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 cup lime juice freshly squeezed

Instructions

  1. Put the steak in a large bowl. Combine the marinade ingredients and pour over the steak.

  2. Cover the bowl and let marinate in the fridge for about 3 hours.

  3. Preheat the grill to a medium heat for 5 minutes. Then grill the meat for 5-7 minutes on each side.

  4. Then transfer to a large tray and cover. Let rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

  5. Serve with warm corn tortillas and pico de gallo.
