Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup of old fashioned oats
  • 1 mexican cinnamon stick broken into pieces
  • 12 cups of water
  • 4 cups of milk
  • 2 tbsp mexican vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Soak the oats and cinnamon stick in 6 cups of water for a few hours or overnight.
  2. Transfer oats, cinnamon, and water to a blender and blend for 1-2 min.
  3. Strain into a pitcher.
  4. Add the sugar, vanilla, milk and remaining 6 cups of water to the pitcher and stir well.
  5. Serve over ice.
