This crab macaroni salad is an absolutely delicious dish that makes a great side for cookouts. It's also yummy served on its own.
Cook the macaroni to al dente according to the instructions on the box. Drain the macaroni in a strainer and rinse with cold water.
Add a tbs of olive oil the macaroni and stir to coat. Set aside and let cool for about 10 minutes.
Once the macaroni has cooled, add it and the crab meat to a large bowl and mix.
Next add the red onion, Old bay, Cajun seasoning, black pepper, chives and parsley flakes to the bowl. Mix well with a large spoon.
Now it’s time to add the mayonnaise. Mix well to make sure everything is coated in the mayonnaise. Then taste and add more seasonings if needed.
Transfer the macaroni crab salad to the refrigerator to chill for a few hours.
Serve and enjoy.
