Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 packets taco seasoning
  • 18 crunchy taco shells
  • water for the seasoning packets
  • 8 oz shredded cheddar jack cheese
  • lettuce for garnishing
  • diced onion for garnishing
  • taco sauce to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat crumble and brown the ground beef. This will take around 10 minutes.

  2. After the meat has browned transfer it to a large paper towel lined plate to drain.

  3. Return the ground beef to the pot and add the taco seasoning and water. Stir well and cook on medium heat for 3-5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Remove the pot from heat.

  4. Preheat the oven to 325.

  5. Place the crunchy taco shells on a baking sheet. Fill the shells with an equal amount of the seasoned ground beef. Top them with the shredded cheese.

  6. Bake the tacos for 8 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

  7. Serve the tacos and garnish them with lettuce, diced onion and taco sauce. Enjoy!
