Cold Brew Iced Coffee Recipe (Mexican Style)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup ground coffee
  • 1 Mexican cinnamon stick
  • 2 whole cloves
  • Mexican vanilla blend
  • brown sugar to taste

Instructions

  1. In a container mix together the coffee, cinnamon stick, whole cloves and 3 cups of water.
  2. Let steep overnight for 8-12 hours.
  3. Remove the cinnamon stick and whole cloves.
  4. Strain the coffee mixture in a french press or with a cheesecloth and fine mesh strainer.
  5. serve. Cut with water or milk. Sweeten with brown sugar if desired and add a about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla.
  6. Enjoy!
