I have another agua fresca recipe for you today! Yep, another one. This one is for Agua de Limon. If you can’t already tell I’m slightly obsessed with agua frescas right now. They’re so refreshing and too easy to make so why not enjoy as many I can? I’m trying to get out as many as I can now so you can enjoy them all this Summer!
Like my other agua fresca recipes this agua de limon would also be a great beverage to serve this Cinco de Mayo. You can even turn this into an adult beverage if you want to. I like mine with a little bit of rum. This recipe is super easy and quick to make. I like to make it when I have extra limes lying around and don’t want them to go bad.
There is no juicing involved in this recipe. I let my blender do all the work. However you have to be careful not to blend it too long or the agua will end up really bitter. All I do is quarter the limes and blend them with some water. I literally only blend for like two seconds. I only make a small amount because it gets bitter if not consumed the same day it’s made.
If you decide to serve this for a get together just make sure to make it right before serving. It will stay good for a few hours but tends to get bitter the longer it sits. But it’s so easy to make it won’t be a hassle at all if you end up having to make more. I really hope you enjoy this recipe. Don’t forget to come back and visit. I have a lot more aguas frescas recipes coming soon! Let me know what your favorite agua fresca is in the comments below. Thanks for visiting!
